Write to us
Send your manuscript or even just an idea. We read everything, then one of us calls you personally for a real conversation about the book.
Valley Leaf Publishing · Kashmir
Your story. Published. Editing, design, print, distribution, and launch — handled with care from Kashmir to the world.
First book or next book: every manuscript receives the same professionalism, warmth, and care. Scroll to open the volume.
01 · The house
Valley Leaf began with a simple frustration: publishing has always felt like something that happens elsewhere — in bigger cities, through hidden connections, behind processes nobody fully explains. We are based in Kashmir and work with writers across the valley and around the world. First book or next book, every manuscript receives the same professionalism, warmth, and care.
“Kashmir has always been a land of stories. We are here to make sure they find the page.” — Khaqan, Founder · Kashmir
02 · Books · Authors
Our first list is taking root. When each book is ready, this is where its author, story, and launch will be introduced.

03 · How it works
Send your manuscript or even just an idea. We read everything, then one of us calls you personally for a real conversation about the book.
We explain the packages plainly and recommend only what your book needs. You can pay in instalments, and nothing moves until you are comfortable.
Editing, design, print, distribution, and launch. You approve every important stage. Then the finished book is placed in your hands.
04 · Publishing packages
Every package includes ISBN registration, professional cover design, interior layout, Amazon KDP, a Kindle eBook, and the stated author copies. You keep 100% of the royalties due to you after retailer or platform fees. Most books are ready to publish within one week of final approval.
Your package fee covers book production, the printed copies listed below, and online publication. Retailer and platform fees are charged by those platforms; the royalties due to you remain yours. You approve the editorial, cover, and interior work through two structured revision rounds before production.

05 · What we stand for
Every manuscript deserves a process that feels clear, considered, and personal — from the first conversation to the moment your finished book reaches a reader.
01
Publishing should not be a privilege. Every price is shown upfront and every cost is explained before you commit.
02
Your story remains completely yours. Every decision serves the book, and one hundred percent of royalties go to you.
03
Affordable does not mean cheap. Every book is held to the same standard of design, editorial care, and print quality.
04
We stay with you from the first conversation to the book in your hands. No jargon, hidden delays, or going quiet.
06 · Book launches · Writing retreats
Physical launches, quiet rooms for drafting, and the hospitality of the valley — coordination, kahwa, noon chai, and light meals — for writers joining us from across India.
07 · Submit a manuscript
A completed manuscript is welcome, but so is a draft, outline, or early idea. We will meet your book where it is.
Send Word files, PDFs, Google Docs exports, images, or whichever format you already use.
We welcome writers from across India and work with manuscripts in any language.
A real person acknowledges your submission within 24–48 hours. Full manuscript reviews are completed within 60–90 days.
08 · Get in touch
A manuscript is welcome. So is a half-formed idea. Start with whatever you have, and a real person will write back — no automated ticket.
